I am writing this letter on behalf of all of your disciples in sri vrindavan dham regarding the celebration of your divine 68Th vyasapuja here.
Every year we celebrate your vyasa puja in order to show our gratitude towards your causeless mercy upon us. We try our best that it doesn’t just remain a tradition or a ritual(niyamagraha) to worship you annually. Instead, we try to pour out our heart in this service and thereby achieve the maximum benefit.
Few days before the Vyasa puja day we had held a disciple gathering in order to discuss the whatabouts of the upcoming program. All the matters were duly contemplated upon by all the devotees and the conclusion was churned out of it. There, we were all ready to go on for the celebrations.
The day commenced with srila Prabhupada’s samadhi Arati, leading up to gurupuja. All the altars were gorgeously decorated with fragrant flowers on your behalf. Then, we showed a hindi video lecture of yours which was much appreciated by the devotees. The program happened in the Balaram hall. This time the decorations were done in a more unique way and it was very much applauded by the devotees. We had seated your holiness and Srila Prabhupada on the stage who looked like a king on the royal throne. At 10.30 am, we started with vaisnava bhajans and kirtans by Kirtan Premi Prabhu., Shyamananda Prabhu., Saranga Thakura Prabhu. and others. Afterwards, there was rendering of heartfelt glorifications by many senior devotees like Deenabandhu Prabhu., Dadhibhaksha Prabhu , Mahadevi Mataji, Prashanta Mataji, and others. It seemed to me that the time ran faster than ever as if it was just a fraction of second. Indeed, we were all glad to receive your live blessings through Skype which was like an icing on the cake. The hall got packed when you spoke live. It was then followed by offering of 56 bhoga, pushpanjali and maha arati. Yet, the program was not finished. The maha maha feast was awaiting everyone. We fed more than 1500 devotees with sumptuous prasad. All the devotees were fully blessed after the event.
We hope that this effort of ours will surely please you. Please accept our humble offering at your lotus feet and bless us with strong faith and surrender unto you, Srila Prabhupada, the guru parampara and Krishna.
